This journey has been a long one: through periodic self-doubt, the constant misuse of "boujee," and a costly love of bacon cheeseburgers, I'm still standing tall.
I have to say thank you to my family, specifically my mom, for being a stubborn Mexican-American woman that pushed me to succeed. Also, most importantly, I have to thank her for passing along her pregnancy cravings (Mexican food) down to me.
My story would not be worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster, but it should merit an hour-long special on E!
